Hey, guys! I know I haven't been around much lately, but I come bearing gifts! At the bottom of this post you'll find a giveaway for Kellogg's NEW Origins cereals, which focuses on natural ingredients rather than fun, colorful, sugar-filled bits and pieces.

I've really been getting into natural foods, so I'm very excited to hear that Kellogg's is jumping on the wagon, and I can't wait to try this new cereal! I was definitely curious to give the Muesli a try. I have heard that my aunts and cousins in Italy love it and have eaten it since they were children, so it only made sense that I would give it a try. I tried it and loved it. If I could describe it, I'd say it would be like eating oatmeal. The only difference is that it's delicious both cold or hot - and my is it filling!

Like I said earlier, I've been getting into natural foods. Not only is it healthier, but it's also more satisfying! Well, Kellogg's either stepped into a time machine and went back to Ancient Times, or they just decided to bring the ancient grains back into the 21st Century. It's definitely the latter, since I don't think anyone has created the time machine yet. 

You're probably wondering what in the world am I talking about right? Well, I'm talking about Kellogg's Origins available in Cereal, Granola, and Muesli. If you're a health nut, or trying to become healthy, then you probably already know what muesli is. If you don't allow me to explain what all three are. As everyone should know by now Ronnie loves his tea, and we have boxes everywhere. I have been looking for something to put them in to take control of the situation. Finally after searching, I came in contact with YouCopia TeaStand. This stand can hold up to 100 different tea bags which is pretty awesome if I must say.

Now instead of having all the tea bags thrown everywhere they are in one place, nice and neat. Lightweight, clean, small, sturdy plastic, this holds a decent amount of tea bags. My husband loves it. He fixes his different teas and arranges them the way he wants.

It is a great organizational tool for tea lovers. I normally do loose leaf but have a variety of bags for on the go quick cups. This is a great space-saving and convenient way of keeping your counter top neat and tidy. Now when we want a cup of tea we can just go to the organizer and get it. You can see the tea bags and get them in and out of the organizer very easily.

This is a sturdy, solid organizer that gets all those boxes gone! Each of the plastic holders will slide up and out. I had some herb tea bags in plastic that were over-sized. I just folded them over, and they fit. This keeps all my tea bags together instead of in all those boxes!! It fits perfectly in the cabinet also. It holds a lot of bags, and each holder is removable also so that it fits perfectly in the cabinet. We have ours in the bedroom because if we didn’t the tea would be gone. My uncle and brother-in-law love their tea. This way my husband has his when he wants it and does not have to worry about it being gone. It's easier to see what I have to offer guests, or simply not forget what I have. And it greatly reduces the collection of boxes of teas in my cabinet.

Honestly, I have never watched the entire movie of Annie. When I was younger, I watched bits and pieces of it over at my friend Kaylie's house, and a couple weeks ago I saw the first fifteen minutes of it via Netflix. I do, however, know some of the songs. I'm not sure if anybody doesn't know a single song from Annie! My personal favorite is "It's the Hard-Knock Life," and it always come to mind when someone mentions Annie. I also like "Dumb Dog," and I find myself singing it from time to time (especially when my dog does something rather dumb).

As you probably know from my recipe posts, I LOVE cooking meals in Crock Pots! I can put the meal in to cook in the morning before I head off to school, then dinner is all ready ready for us by the time I get back. It's simple, easy, and there's so many options (including healthy ones)!

 I absolutely love cooking. Food is a passion of mine, and I really enjoy experimenting with different flavor profiles and cooking techniques. I love using my Crock Pot whenever I can, just because it is so much easier for me when I have a busy schedule, I can put all my ingredients together set the timer and go. My family is still getting a wonderful home cooked meal and I save myself time doing that.   One of my favorite and delicious recipes to make is called - Fall Off The Bone Ribs. This a very easy 3 ingredient recipe. I love cooking this hearty dinner for my family and being able to make it in t acrock pot makes it so much easier. Fall Off The Bone BBQ Ribs 

Ingredients: 

1 (2-3 lb) rack of ribs (I use pork loin ribs) 

3 1/2 cups pineapple juice (reserving 1/4 cup for later) 

1 1/2 cups brown sugar 

1 (16 oz) bottle BBQ sauce (I love Famous Dave’s Rich and Sassy sauce)

Directions: 

Spray the slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray (or use a slow cooker liner to make clean up a breeze!).

Take your slab of ribs (make sure that they are defrosted) and cut into individual slabs (about 2-3 ribs each). Throw the ribs into the slow cooker. Mix the pineapple juice and brown sugar together and pour over the ribs. Put the lid back on the slow cooker and cook on HIGH for 7-8 hours or LOW for 10-12 hours.

After they are done in the slow cooker, use tongs to gently pull them out (they will literally fall apart when you touch them). Turn the grill on medium heat. While the grill is warming up, mix together the bottle of BBQ sauce and the 1/4 cup of pineapple juice you saved from earlier.

Place the ribs gently on the grill and brush with BBQ sauce. Turn the ribs twice, slathering with more sauce each time (you can’t have enough sauce!); they will take about 10-15 minutes to glaze over (as soon as that sauce starts to turn sticky, you know they are done!).

As a teenager, I suffered from horrible breakouts and greasy skin. I could not find anything that would treat my acne, and I tried everything from name brand products to organic treatments. It got to the point where I had to have my doctor prescribe an ointment. The ointment worked pretty well, but then my insurance stopped paying for it and the generic treatment that they would pay for didn’t work.

Not only was my skin greasy and prone to breakouts, it’s also very sensitive. Certain products that I’d tried in the past had even made my breakouts worse.
